1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Service (Terms) are a legal agreement between you and SolarField regarding your use of the website at solarfield.ink (the Site). By accessing the Site, browsing pages, or submitting an enquiry through our forms, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Site and submit an enquiry. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to contact us and share any personal details used for the enquiry. The Site is intended for residents and businesses in Ireland who are researching solar PV, battery storage, and related installation services.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Site and do not submit any information through the Site. You may still contact us by phone if you need clarification before proceeding.
2. Description of services
SolarField provides information about solar PV, solar battery storage, and related services in Ireland, with a strong focus on Dublin and Leinster. The Site also allows you to request a site survey, request a quote, and contact our team for follow-up questions.
Our core services typically include: (a) domestic solar PV system design and installation, (b) battery storage supply and installation, (c) upgrades or additions to existing systems where appropriate, and (d) guidance on documentation needed for the SEAI Solar Electricity Grant where eligibility requirements are met. Specific inclusions, exclusions, timelines, and pricing will be set out in a written quote or proposal.
Content on the Site is provided for general information and planning only. Your actual system design depends on site-specific factors, including roof dimensions, orientation, shading, roof condition, electrical infrastructure, and safe access. Any numbers, ranges, or examples shown on the Site are indicative and may differ from your outcome.
No offer formed by website content
The Site does not constitute a binding offer to provide services at a specific price. A binding agreement is formed only when SolarField provides a written quote or contract and it is accepted by you in writing (and where any deposit or other conditions are satisfied).
3. User obligations
When using the Site or contacting SolarField, you agree to provide accurate, current information to the best of your knowledge. If you submit an enquiry, you should only provide details necessary for us to respond and arrange a survey or quote, such as your name, contact information, and general location.
You agree to use the Site lawfully and respectfully. This includes not interfering with the operation or security of the Site, and not using the Site to distribute unsolicited messages or to gather information about others. If you share your phone number or email address, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
If we schedule a site survey, you agree to provide safe access, disclose relevant information that may affect safety (for example, roof access restrictions), and ensure that anyone attending the property understands the purpose of the visit. Any survey may be re-scheduled if access is not safe or if requested information is materially incomplete.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its contents, including text, design, layout, graphics, logos, icons, photographs, videos (if any), and underlying code, are owned by SolarField or licensed to SolarField and are protected by intellectual property laws. SolarField and related branding are trademarks or trade names used by us.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your personal and internal business purposes in Ireland, such as researching solar PV installation and requesting a quote. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, or create derivative works from the Site or its content without our prior written permission.
If you download or print content for personal reference, you must keep any notices intact. Any unauthorised use may result in termination of access and potential legal action.

- Submitting false or misleading enquiry information, impersonating another person, or using a phone number or email you do not control.
- Sending spam, bulk messages, or repeated enquiries intended to overwhelm our team.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to discover source code or underlying structure of the Site.
- Using the Site in a manner that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of SolarField or others.
- Using the Site to promote illegal activity, fraud, or misleading claims about grants, tariffs, or financial savings.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe prohibited activity has occurred, including blocking IP addresses or filtering messages.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we take care to keep information accurate and up to date, SolarField does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from vulnerabilities.
Solar PV performance depends on many factors outside our control, including weather, shading changes over time, household usage, and grid conditions. Any savings examples are indicative. We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes, payback periods, export income, or eligibility for any grant or scheme.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolarField disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This clause does not limit any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SolarField will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. This includes loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolarField’s total liability for direct damages arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will not exceed the lower of (a) the amount paid by you to SolarField in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SolarField, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Site, (c) your violation of any law or regulation, or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.
We may assume the defence of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defence and settlement efforts.
9. Third-party links
The Site may reference third-party products or services or may contain links to external websites in the future. Those external sites are not controlled by SolarField. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.
If you choose to visit third-party sites, you do so at your own risk. We recommend reviewing the third party’s terms and privacy policy before providing any personal data.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store personal data, including cookies and analytics preferences.
If you submit an enquiry, you understand that SolarField will use your contact details to respond, arrange a site survey where applicable, and provide a quote. Marketing communications, if any, will only be sent where consent has been obtained in accordance with applicable law, and you can opt out at any time.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or the Site are governed by the laws of Ireland.
The courts of Dublin, Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Site, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your circumstances.
12. Dispute resolution
If you have a concern or dispute related to the Site, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally. You agree to provide SolarField with a written description of the issue and a reasonable opportunity to respond.
Unless prohibited by applicable law, you agree to a 30-day informal resolution period before commencing court proceedings, starting from the date you notify us in writing. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief where appropriate.
13. Termination
SolarField may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited activities, or used the Site in a manner that could harm SolarField, other users, or third parties.
Termination of access to the Site does not affect any rights or obligations that have accrued prior to termination. The following sections survive termination: Intellectual property, Prohibited activities, Disclaimer of warranties, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Governing law and jurisdiction, and Contact and legal notices.
14. Modifications to these terms
SolarField may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Site, legal requirements, or our business practices. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
